About the PACE Center

The PACE Center is home to the first-year programs and services that will help you start the path toward earning your degree at Texas State. We will work together with you in developing strategies for academic success as you gain a better sense of who you are and the types of careers that will be available to you upon graduation.

Our PACE goals include:

  • Promoting a successful transition to college and establishing a foundation for academic success in University Seminar (US1100).
  • Creating a class schedule customized to your academic and personal goals.
  • Connecting results of career inventories to majors offered at Texas State.
  • Providing input and guidance regarding opportunities available to you upon graduation.
  • Helping you develop an academic and personal plan aimed at graduation and focused on your achievement of short- and long-term career goals.
